Comedy Seminar with: Andy Engel, founder of the Manhattan School of Comedy; Mike Marino, comedian and actor; Alan Zweibel, comedy writer for Saturday Night Live and Curb your Enthusiasm; and Michael Somerville, comedian and host on Comedy Central. This gives students and guests a chance to learn about comedy first-hand from the experts and hear how they got started in the world of humor.
2 - 5 P.M.
The students from 40 colleges in New Jersey perform their 5 minute stand-up routines before the three judges of Marino, Zweibel and Somerville.
6:30 - 8:30 P.M.
Completion of all contestants; performances by Michael Somerville and Mike Marino; selection of the first prize winner crowned the New Jersey King of Campus Comedy; selection of second prize Good Humor Award; selection of the New Jersey Comedy Hall of Fame member; final ceremonies; and a VIP party.
