Dear EMACC Member,
I’m looking forward to serving all of you and hope I’m up to the challenge for what lies ahead. Every one of us have experienced some difficult hurdles in the past few years, of course capped off by the devastation we’ve endured the last few months. This area needs this organization, now more than ever. I know many see chambers of commerce or places where business people can come together to share ideas and resources as an antiquated notion, replaced with social media and virtual business. I disagree. This world needs both.
I look forward to keeping a firm grasp on the values that have helped this great chamber thrive the last 85 years while continuing to stimulate progress as we move EMACC forward into the new world. Because, like a runaway stallion, we may not be able to stop change, but we should all relish the challenge of harnessing it.
