The second year of New Jersey Business and Industry Association’s (NJBIA) Basic Skills Training Program is now underway! The training is being made available at no charge to NJ Businesses thanks to a $1.33 million state training grant. Employees can get training in:
• Computer applications (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Mathematics and measurement
• Communications (verbal and written)
• English as a second language, The training classes can be held at the company’s facility or at one of Brookdale Community College’s convenient locations near their place of business. The NJ Community College Consortium is coordinating the training sessions.
